Smart is the first player to win the award three times and the first to win it in back-to-back seasons.
The award honors the player who demonstrates the most hustle based on stats like loose balls recovered, charges drawn, and contested shots.
Smart beat out Draymond Green, Aaron Nesmith, Mitchell Robinson, and Herb Jones for the award this season.
Players must have played in at least 58 games and 24 minutes per game this season to be eligible for the award.
