Marianne Faithfull’s Final EP ‘Burning Moonlight’ Announced for Posthumous Release

The four-track EP, recorded in the last year of her life, reflects on her six-decade career and will be available on vinyl in April and digitally in June.

  • The title track, 'Burning Moonlight,' was released today, showcasing themes of resilience and reflection, and drawing inspiration from her first hit, 'As Tears Go By.'
  • Two original songs, 'Burning Moonlight' and 'Love Is,' were co-written by Faithfull, with the latter featuring contributions from her grandson, Oscar Dunbar.
  • The EP will be released as a limited-edition vinyl on April 12 for Record Store Day and will be available digitally on June 6.
