Massive Fire Destroys Gurugram’s Kingdom of Dreams

The iconic cultural and entertainment complex, closed since 2022 over unpaid dues, was gutted in a five-hour blaze; no casualties reported.

The fire broke out early Thursday morning in the Culture Gully section of the Kingdom of Dreams in Gurugram’s Sector 29.
More than 10 fire tenders battled the blaze for over five hours, with parts of the structure collapsing during the operation.
The venue, sealed since July 2022 due to ₹107 crore in unpaid dues, was unoccupied, and no injuries were reported.
This is the second fire at the complex in two years, raising concerns about safety risks in abandoned properties.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, with electrical faults, arson, or negligence being considered.
