Among the documented rescues, the video shows an officer aiding a severely burned man and using a patrol car to take him directly to the hospital.
One clip from the footage showed officers and residents teaming up to cut open a metal gate with a tow strap and a saw, allowing a line of cars an escape route.
The cause of the disastrous fire, suspected to be downed power lines that ignited dry, invasive grasses, is still under scrutiny, highlighting the potential hazard of overgrown areas beneath power lines.
