Merchant Navy Officer Murdered by Wife and Her Lover, Body Found in Cement Drum

Muskan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla confessed to killing Saurabh Rajput, revealing a premeditated crime involving manipulation, drugs, and a failed cover-up.

Saurabh Rajput, a 29-year-old Merchant Navy officer, was murdered on March 4, 2025, by his wife Muskan Rastogi and her lover Sahil Shukla in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
The couple dismembered his body into 15 pieces, sealed it in a cement-filled drum, and attempted to mislead investigators by using his phone and social media.
Muskan manipulated Sahil into the crime, using fake Snapchat messages claiming to be from his deceased mother and exploiting his drug dependency.
After the murder, Muskan and Sahil traveled to Shimla to create an alibi but were arrested following Muskan's confession to her parents on March 18.
Muskan's parents have condemned her actions, demanding the death penalty for her and Sahil, as investigations continue into the meticulously planned crime.
