Met Police’s V100 Initiative Secures 100 Convictions of High-Risk Offenders

The program employs counter-terrorism tactics and data analytics to target dangerous individuals and protect women and girls in London.

The V100 initiative has led to 100 convictions and over 400 years of prison sentences for offenders targeting women and girls in London.
Since its launch in January 2024, the program has charged 126 individuals with 574 offences, including rape, grievous bodily harm, and attempted murder.
The initiative uses counter-terrorism and organized crime tactics, combined with data analytics, to identify and apprehend the top 100 high-risk offenders monthly.
Court orders, such as Domestic Violence Prevention Orders and Stalking Protection Orders, have been issued in 69 cases to safeguard victims and restrict offenders' activities.
Officials, including London Mayor Sadiq Khan and Minister Jess Phillips, have praised the program’s impact while emphasizing the need for continued efforts to combat violence against women.
