Metro Dev 4A Games Rebrands as Reburn, Announces Sci-Fi Shooter La Quimera

The newly independent Ukrainian studio introduces its first original IP set in a dystopian Latin America, blending folklore with advanced technology.

Reburn, formerly 4A Games Ukraine, has rebranded to mark its independence from the Malta-based 4A Games, which retains the Metro IP.
La Quimera is a narrative-driven sci-fi FPS set in a futuristic Latin American megalopolis and jungle, featuring single-player and three-player co-op modes.
The game's world and story were co-created by filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn and writer E.J.A. Warren, incorporating themes of folklore, societal progress, and advanced technology.
Reburn's team of over 110 developers includes veterans from the Metro series and S.T.A.L.K.E.R., with Dmytro Lymar as CEO and Oleksandr Kostiuk as project lead.
The game, available for wishlisting on Steam, has no confirmed release date yet, and further updates are expected in the coming months.
