Michigan Man Arrested for Threatening to Kill Biden, Harris and Other Officials

Russell Warren made threats through social media, also targeting journalists, celebrities, and 2024 presidential candidates.

Russell Warren, a 49-year-old Michigan man, has been arrested and charged with making threats to kill President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and other high-ranking government officials.
Warren made these threats through social media posts on X, where he also threatened journalists, celebrities, 2024 presidential candidates, and mentioned plans to destroy several landmarks and locations.
Warren was identified by the U.S. Secret Service through his IP address and was arrested on Monday.
He had previously been arrested in 2022 for assault with a deadly weapon.
The charge of threatening the president and other senior government officials carries a maximum prison sentence of five years.
