Missing 5-Year-Old Bhopal Girl Found Dead in Neighbor's Locked Flat

The child's body was discovered in a water tank after a two-day search involving over 100 police personnel.

The girl went missing on Tuesday afternoon while under the care of her grandmother in Bhopal's Shahjahanabad locality.
Her body was found on Thursday in a water tank inside a locked flat in the Vajpayee Nagar Multi area, rented out only five months ago.
Police deployed drones, dog squads, and special teams to search nearly 1,000 flats and water sources in the area.
The family and locals protested, accusing the police of negligence in handling the missing person report.
Authorities are awaiting the autopsy report to determine the cause of death, with several individuals currently being questioned.
