Ferguson's ex-boyfriend, Adam Aviles Jr., is currently in jail on a federal charge of being a felon in possession of ammunition, with his trial set for January 24.
Ferguson's family believes Aviles Jr. is involved in her disappearance, citing a change in his behavior and controlling tendencies prior to her disappearance.
Ferguson's vehicle, a 1999 Dodge Durango, was found abandoned near Cody, Wyoming, with dried blood, a loaded Glock magazine and a 'projectile hole' in the front passenger door.
Ferguson's two young daughters are currently staying with their paternal grandmother.
