MLB Announces 'Spring Breakout' Prospect Showcase for March 2024

The four-day event will feature top prospects from all 30 MLB clubs in exhibition games, providing fans with a unique opportunity to interact with the future stars of the game.

Major League Baseball (MLB) has announced a new Spring Training event called 'Spring Breakout' set to take place from March 14-17, 2024.
The event will feature each of the 30 MLB clubs assembling rosters of 20-25 of their top prospects to compete in exhibition games against other organizations.
The games will be seven innings long and twelve of the matchups will be paired with Major League Spring Training games as part of in-stadium doubleheaders.
The inaugural Spring Breakout aims to showcase the future stars of the game and provide fans with unique opportunities to meet the best prospects, get autographs and see the next generation of Major Leaguers up close.
The event is part of MLB's increased emphasis on marketing minor leaguers since it started running the minor leagues in 2021.
