MrBeast Rejects Elon Musk's Request to Post Videos on X, Citing Insufficient Monetization

Despite the high production costs of his videos, the YouTuber expresses willingness to test the platform once its monetization improves.

Elon Musk, owner of social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, has asked popular YouTuber MrBeast to post his videos on X.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, responded that his videos cost millions to make and even if they received billions of views on X, it wouldn't fund a fraction of the production costs.
Despite this, MrBeast expressed willingness to test the platform once its monetization is 'really cranking'.
X began its ad-sharing program last year, with the first set of payouts amounting to $5 million, according to Musk.
MrBeast has over 225 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel, and his net worth is estimated to be $500 million.
