Mysterious Disappearance of Iowa Trucker Continues to Baffle Investigators

Despite extensive searches and over 250 volunteers, David Schultz remains missing two weeks after his abandoned truck was found.

David Schultz, a 53-year-old trucker from Wall Lake, Iowa, has been missing since November 21.
Schultz's semi-truck was found abandoned on a rural highway in northwest Iowa, with his wallet, phone, and a load of baby pigs still inside.
Despite extensive searches covering 100,000 acres, Schultz has not been found and his disappearance remains a mystery.
More than 250 individual volunteers have joined the search, led by the United Cajun Navy, a nonprofit search-and-rescue organization.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is assisting local law enforcement with the case, but has declined to comment on the active investigation.
