Nationals' Stone Garrett Breaks Leg While Attempting to Rob Home Run

Stone Garrett of the Washington Nationals broke his left fibula trying to rob a home run hit by the Yankees' DJ LeMahieu.
Garrett collided with the outfield wall and had to be carted off the field with his leg in an air cast.
The Nationals placed Garrett on the 10-day injured list and recalled infielder Jeter Downs from Triple-A.
Garrett was having a strong season for the Nationals, batting .269 with 9 home runs and 40 RBI.
The injury occurred during the Nationals' 9-1 loss to the Yankees, their second consecutive defeat.
