Netflix ‘One Piece’ Adaptation Delayed as Creator Works to Ensure Quality

Eiichiro Oda, the creator of “One Piece,” recently updated fans on the progress of the upcoming Netflix live-action adaptation.
Oda acknowledged initial challenges working with Tomorrow Studios and Netflix due to cultural differences but said all parties are now collaborating well.
The series will not launch until Oda approves and the entire team is passionate about the project.
Netflix has invested heavily in the production and promised not to release it until Oda is satisfied.
The show is set to debut in 2023 with 8 episodes.
