Despite the diagnosis, Cowperthwaite remains optimistic, stating that his doctors are confident they will be able to remove most of the tumor through brain surgery, the only course of treatment for this type of cancer.
Cowperthwaite and his family are seeking second opinions but anticipate that the surgery will take place by the middle or end of next week.
The actor has started a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of $50,000 to help cover the costs of the surgery.
Cowperthwaite has expressed his determination to fully recover and return to his acting career, stating that he plans to 'bounce back to be better than my former glory.'
