Netflix Upgrades Ad-Supported Plan to 1080p at No Additional Cost

Netflix's ad-supported plan is getting an upgrade
The $6.99 per month "Basic with Ads" plan launched in November 2022
The plan previously had a video quality cap of 720p
Netflix is now increasing the video quality to 1080p and allowing two simultaneous streams
The upgrade will roll out to all markets by the end of April 2023
