Adamo reportedly shot Tom outside the couple's home and then fired into the house, striking Jill in the leg, before retreating to his own residence.
The Kwatkoskis and Adamo had been involved in a longstanding feud, with police responding to their homes six times in the past year due to disputes.
A SWAT team surrounded Adamo's home for two and a half hours before entering and finding him deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound; a pressure cooker in his bedroom was deemed non-explosive.
Both victims were airlifted to a hospital where they remain in critical but stable condition, with Jill making a dramatic 911 call during the attack to plead for help.
