New Overwatch 2 Hero Mauga Revealed, Available for Trial Weekend, Officially Joining in December

Mauga, the latest tank addition to Overwatch 2, available for trial Nov 3-Nov 5, is a heavy-duty character with abilities like incendiary chainguns and abilities that bolster allies' healing, with his official release slated for Dec 5 as part of Season 8.

Mauga, the new tank hero in Overwatch 2, was introduced during a trial weekend from November 3 to November 5 and will officially become part of the game in Season 8 starting on December 5.
Mauga's unique abilities include incendiary chainguns, a charging attack that can't be stopped by crowd control, and an aura that reduces damage to allies and allows them to heal when attacking.
Apart from Mauga, two more heroes, a damage hero named Venture and a support hero codenamed Space Ranger, have been announced to arrive in Overwatch 2 in 2024.
Blizzard also announced a new game mode, 'Clash', for Overwatch 2, which involves teams capturing five points along a row, with a reworked version of Hanamura as the first Clash map.
There will also be a major rework of the competitive system in Overwatch 2 in 2024, with future seasons becoming centered around themes such as eldritch horror and Egyptian mythology.
