New Visitor Limits Implemented at Greece's Acropolis

A maximum of 20,000 visitors per day will be allowed at the Acropolis starting in September.
Visitor numbers will be capped hourly under the new rules.
Limits will be permanent from April 2024, after an initial trial period.
There will no longer be a time limit for visiting the Acropolis.
Other popular Greek archaeological sites will also have visitor limits.
