New Visitor Limits Implemented at Greece's Acropolis
- A maximum of 20,000 visitors per day will be allowed at the Acropolis starting in September.
- Visitor numbers will be capped hourly under the new rules.
- Limits will be permanent from April 2024, after an initial trial period.
- There will no longer be a time limit for visiting the Acropolis.
- Other popular Greek archaeological sites will also have visitor limits.
