New York Approves $1.5 Billion Buffalo Bills Stadium Set to Open in 2026

The Erie County Legislature unanimously approved a 30-year lease and plans to build a new stadium for the Buffalo Bills.
The stadium will cost $1.5 billion to construct and is scheduled to open in 2026.
The stadium will seat over 60,000 fans and will not have a dome but will have a canopy to shield fans from weather.
The NFL, Bills, New York state and Erie County will contribute $1.15 billion for construction costs.
The Bills will move into the new stadium across from their current home in Orchard Park, New York.
