NFL Star Bill Romanowski Owes Over $15 Million in Taxes, Lawsuit Alleges

Bill Romanowski, a former NFL linebacker, owes more than $15 million in unpaid taxes and penalties dating back to 1998 according to a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Department of Justice.
Romanowski and his wife allegedly used funds from their nutrition business to pay for personal expenses like plastic surgery, vacations, and their children's bills.
The government is attempting to take control of Nutrition 53, the Romanowskis' nutrition supplement company, to settle the tax debt.
The Romanowskis did not pay income taxes for nearly a decade between 1998 to 2007, according to the Justice Department.
Romanowski played 16 seasons in the NFL, winning four Super Bowls and appearing in two Pro Bowls.
