Nintendo Confirms Release Date for Live-Action 'Legend of Zelda' Movie

Nintendo announced the release date for the live-action adaptation of 'The Legend of Zelda' via its new Nintendo Today app, launched earlier this week.
The film is directed by Wes Ball, known for 'The Maze Runner' trilogy and 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,' and aims for a 'live-action Miyazaki' aesthetic.
Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of the 'Zelda' franchise, and Avi Arad, producer of numerous Marvel films, are serving as producers on the project.
The movie is a collaboration between Nintendo and Sony Pictures, with Nintendo holding a majority financial stake and Sony handling global distribution.
