Nintendo to Close Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Announces New Paid Version

The mobile game will end its online service in November, but players can transfer their progress to an offline version.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will shut down on November 28, 2024, after seven years of service.
A new paid version of the game will launch simultaneously, allowing players to transfer their save data.
The new version will not include microtransactions or require an online connection.
Features requiring online connectivity, such as visiting other players' campsites, will be removed.
More details about the new version, including pricing, will be revealed in October.
