North Carolina Man Fatally Shot in Front of Children During Road Rage Incident

A 75-year-old suspect is charged with murder and attempted murder after a deadly altercation in Catawba County.

Jeffrey Michael Guida, 40, was killed in a road rage dispute with Terrell Eugene Giddens, 75, in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina.
The incident occurred on October 12 at the intersection of Island Point Road and North View Harbour Drive.
Giddens allegedly fired multiple shots, including into Guida's vehicle, which was occupied by his three children, aged 13, 11, and 2.
The children were not physically harmed during the incident, according to the Catawba County Sheriff's Office.
Giddens was arrested at his home and is being held without bond on charges of murder and three counts of attempted first-degree murder.
