North Dakota Daycare Operator Sentenced to 19 Years for Infant's Homicide

The court imposed a 40-year sentence with 20 years suspended, and Wick must also serve 10 years of supervised probation.

An autopsy confirmed the infant died from complications of blunt force head and neck trauma, ruling the death a homicide.
Another child in Wick's care sustained a broken arm, which she failed to immediately report to his parents.
