NVIDIA and xAI Join $30 Billion AI Infrastructure Partnership

The initiative, led by BlackRock, Microsoft, GIP, and MGX, expands its scope with new partners and a focus on energy-efficient AI data centers.

The AI Infrastructure Partnership (AIP) has added NVIDIA and xAI as members, with NVIDIA serving as a technical advisor leveraging its expertise in AI computing.
The partnership, launched in September 2024, aims to unlock $30 billion in capital and mobilize up to $100 billion in total investment for AI-ready infrastructure.
GE Vernova and NextEra Energy have joined to provide sustainable and diverse energy solutions, including renewable energy and battery storage, for AI data centers.
AIP’s investments will prioritize building energy-efficient AI data centers in the United States and OECD countries to drive economic growth and innovation.
The initiative operates on a non-exclusive, open-architecture platform to foster collaboration and attract a broad ecosystem of partners.
