Nvidia Updates RTX 4070, 4060 Ti, and 4060 GPUs with Higher-Tier Silicon

Due to a strategic shift, Nvidia will utilize higher-tier, previously unused silicon for its RTX 4070, 4060 Ti, and 4060 graphics cards, maintaining the same specifications but with different chips.

• Nvidia plans to use higher-tier, down-binned silicon for RTX 4070, 4060 Ti, and 4060 graphics cards to maximize inventory efficiency.
• The RTX 4070 will switch from AD104 silicon to the larger AD103, while the 4060 Ti and 4060 will also receive updated silicon variants.
• Despite the change in silicon, the specifications, performance, and pricing of the updated graphics cards will remain unchanged.
• The new variants are set to hit the market starting the second half of this month for the RTX 4070, with the 4060 Ti and 4060 following in April.
• Nvidia's latest GeForce 551.86 graphics driver already supports the new GPU SKUs, ensuring compatibility and support for gamers.
