Ohio Father Charged with Murder of 13-Year-Old Daughter After Violent Arrest

Darnell Jones, accused of killing his daughter Keimani Latigue, was apprehended after a confrontation with SWAT officers in Columbus.

Keimani Latigue, 13, was reported missing on March 18 and found dead on March 24 in a burned-out house in Toledo, with her death ruled a homicide caused by multiple incised neck wounds.
Her father, Darnell Jones, was identified as the primary suspect and apprehended on March 25 in Columbus after a gunfight with SWAT officers, during which he was shot and injured.
Jones faces charges of kidnapping, murder, and felonious assault, with his first court appearance scheduled for March 26, 2025.
