The incident occurred on January 8, when the girl's mother called 911 due to the severity of the situation.
Officer Osicka immediately began performing CPR upon arrival, and the girl started breathing again within seconds.
The girl stopped breathing again shortly after, but Officer Osicka continued CPR until she was responsive.
The girl has since fully recovered and is back home.
