Ohio Teen Accused of Murdering Boyfriend's Mother

Kaitlyn Coones, 17, allegedly killed Nicole Jones after her boyfriend failed to do so, then fled to Mexico with him.

17-year-old Kaitlyn Coones is accused of murdering her 33-year-old boyfriend’s mother, Nicole Jones, after giving him an ultimatum to kill her himself.
Coones and her boyfriend, Jonathan Jones, allegedly disposed of Nicole's body in a dumpster, which was then taken to a landfill.
Coones and Jonathan fled to Mexico after the murder, where they were later apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Service Missing Child Unit.
Coones allegedly confessed to the murder during a phone call with a case worker while on the run.
Jonathan Jones, who was previously convicted for his illegal relationship with Coones, is also facing charges in connection with his mother’s murder.
