Oklahoma executes Jemaine Cannon for 1995 murder of Tulsa woman after failed appeals

Cannon was convicted of murdering Sharonda Clark in 1995 after escaping from a prison work center.

Cannon's request for clemency was denied and his appeal seeking a stay was rejected.
The execution was Oklahoma's second this year using a three-drug lethal injection protocol.
Clark's family said they were relieved justice was finally served after decades of waiting.
