Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in Final Talks to Become Besiktas Manager

The former Manchester United coach is negotiating an 18-month deal with the Turkish club, which has struggled in the league this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, former Manchester United player and coach, is in advanced discussions to take over as Besiktas' head coach.
The Norwegian manager has been out of coaching since leaving Manchester United in 2021.
Besiktas has been without a permanent coach since Giovanni van Bronckhorst was dismissed in November 2024.
If finalized, Solskjaer will lead a team currently in sixth place in the Turkish Super Lig, 20 points behind league leaders Galatasaray.
The move sets up a potential rivalry with fellow former Manchester United manager José Mourinho, who currently manages Fenerbahce.
