Olympic Gold Medalist and Women's Basketball Legend Nikki McCray-Penson Passes Away at 51

McCray-Penson was a two-time Olympic gold medalist for Team USA's women's basketball team in 1996 and 2000.
She played nine seasons in the WNBA, earning three All-Star selections and was named league MVP in 1997.
McCray-Penson had a successful college career at the University of Tennessee, winning two SEC Player of the Year awards.
She was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012 after her playing career.
McCray-Penson transitioned into coaching, serving as an assistant at South Carolina, Old Dominion, Mississippi State and Rutgers over 16 years.
