Oscar Mayer is hiring drivers for its iconic Wienermobile, offering a base salary of $35,600, a weekly allowance of $150 for meals and personal travel, full health benefits, and all hotel expenses covered.
The role, officially titled 'Wienermobile Spokesperson', involves driving the 27-foot vehicle across the country, hosting popup events, appearing on local media, and creating content for social media.
Hotdoggers, as the drivers are known, traverse an average of 20,000 miles each year, visit at least 40 cities and represent Oscar Mayer at more than 1,200 events.
Applications for the position are open through January 31, with the successful applicants representing the 37th class of Hotdoggers.
Qualifications for the position include a bachelor’s degree, preferably in public relations, journalism, communications or marketing, strong communication skills and a love of hot dogs.
