Oswego Man Dies After 50-Foot Fall at Starved Rock State Park

Albert Cramer, 38, was hiking in Illinois Canyon when he fell; authorities do not suspect foul play.

The incident occurred Saturday afternoon at Illinois Canyon, a popular hiking spot in the park.
Cramer fell 40 to 50 feet from a bluff and was pronounced dead around 6:25 p.m.
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources and other agencies are investigating the circumstances.
Starved Rock State Park is one of Illinois' most visited attractions, known for its canyons and waterfalls.
Cramer is survived by his wife, four daughters, and two granddaughters.
