Owlcat Games Expands Into Publishing With Two New RPGs

The developer will assist independent studios with funding, expertise, and resources for narrative-driven projects.

Owlcat Games, known for titles like Pathfinder: Kingmaker, is moving into publishing to support indie developers.
The company has signed two initial projects: Rue Valley by Emotion Spark Studio and Shadow of the Road by Another Angle Games.
Rue Valley is a narrative RPG about a man in a time loop during a psychotherapy session.
Shadow of the Road is an isometric RPG set in an alternate history of feudal Japan, featuring samurai and steampunk elements.
Owlcat has also taken control of META Publishing, focusing on gameplay-first titles with co-op multiplayer features.
