Ozzy Osbourne Documentary to Chronicle Health Struggles and Final Black Sabbath Performance
Paramount+ will release 'No Escape From Now,' a feature-length film exploring Osbourne's health battles, music career, and farewell concert in Birmingham later this year.
- The documentary, titled 'No Escape From Now,' will provide an intimate look at Ozzy Osbourne's life since a 2019 fall that led to spinal damage and a Parkinson's diagnosis.
- Directed by BAFTA-winning filmmaker Tania Alexander, the film began production in 2022 and will conclude with Osbourne's final performance with Black Sabbath on July 5, 2025, in Birmingham, England.
- The documentary will feature appearances by Osbourne's family and prominent collaborators, including Tony Iommi, Zakk Wylde, Duff McKagan, and Maynard James Keenan.
- Osbourne credits music and the creation of his last two albums, 'Ordinary Man' (2020) and 'Patient Number 9' (2022), with helping him cope during some of the most challenging years of his life.
- Proceeds from the sold-out farewell concert, featuring a lineup of major rock and metal acts, will support Cure Parkinson’s and other charitable causes.
