Pakistan Warns Afghan Taliban Against Harboring Militants After Deadly Attacks

Pakistan's military chief Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa warned the Afghan Taliban of an "effective response" if militants continue to find safe haven across the border.
The warning follows two militant attacks in Pakistan's Balochistan province this week that killed 12 soldiers.
Pakistan holds Afghan Taliban responsible for upholding 2020 agreement barring terror groups from using Afghan soil for attacks on Pakistan.
Militant groups including Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Islamic State, and Baloch separatists are active in the region.
Pakistan accuses Afghanistan of not doing enough to prevent cross-border attacks originating from its territory.
