Paralympian Alessandro Ossola Proposes to Girlfriend After 100m Race

The Italian sprinter, who lost his first wife in a tragic accident, made a heartfelt proposal at the 2024 Paris Paralympics.

Ossola proposed to his girlfriend, Arianna Mandaradoni, after being eliminated from the men's 100m T63 heat.
The proposal took place in front of 40,000 spectators at the Stade de France.
Ossola lost most of his left leg and his first wife in a 2015 motorcycle accident.
He credits sports with helping him overcome a dark period in his life.
This may be Ossola's last Paralympics, as he feels ready to start a new chapter.
