Overview

• Partial human remains were discovered on May 18, 2025, near Lynn Road, Walton Highway, close to where Terry McSpadden was last seen in 2007.
• McSpadden, a 24-year-old father of two, disappeared after visiting the Locomotive pub in Wisbech on March 2, 2007, and was presumed murdered.
• Police have cordoned off the area and are pursuing multiple lines of inquiry while forensic analysis is underway to confirm the identity of the remains.
• McSpadden's family, including his mother Helen Thrower, hopes the discovery will provide long-awaited closure after years of grief and uncertainty.
