Path of Exile 2 Unveils Dawn of the Hunt Update with New Huntress Class

The first major expansion for the ARPG sequel launches April 4, 2025, introducing the Huntress class, five new Ascendancy options, and expanded endgame content.

Grinding Gear Games has announced the Dawn of the Hunt update for Path of Exile 2, set to release on April 4, 2025, as the first major expansion since Early Access began.
The update introduces the Huntress class, a hybrid melee and ranged fighter with 22 new skills, including Parry, Blood Hunt, and Whirling Slash, offering dynamic combat options.
Five new Ascendancy classes are being added, including Ritualist and Amazon for the Huntress, alongside Smith of Kitava (Warrior), Tactician (Mercenary), and Lich (Witch).
Seven new endgame maps, such as The Fractured Lake and The Silent Cave, will expand the late-game experience, along with mechanics like cleansing corruption and Rogue Exile encounters.
Over 100 new support gems, new skills, and items, including Raise Spectre and Summon Rhoa, will provide players with deeper build customization and gameplay variety.
