Patriots Trade Defensive Tackle Davon Godchaux to Saints for 2026 Pick

The veteran run-stopper will return to Louisiana after four seasons in New England as part of the deal set to be finalized this week.

The Patriots reportedly allowed Godchaux to seek a trade in February, as they shift toward a new defensive strategy under head coach Mike Vrabel.
A Louisiana native and LSU alumnus, Godchaux will return to his home state, where he is expected to contribute as a run-stopping nose tackle for the Saints.
