Pavelski Leads Stars to Victory Over Kraken, Series Even at One Apiece

Joe Pavelski scored his fifth goal in two games since returning from injury along with 19-year-old rookie Wyatt Johnston's goals to lead Dallas to a 4-2 victory over the Seattle Kraken and tie the second-round playoff series at 1-1.
The Stars rebounded from an overtime loss in Game 1 behind goals from Evgenii Dadonov and Tyler Seguin in addition to Johnston and Pavelski.
The series will now shift to Seattle for Game 3 on Sunday night with the series even at one game each.
Despite being left off the ballot for rookie of the year, Johnston praised Pavelski's leadership and living with the veteran star.
Johnston will turn 20 between Games 6 and 7 of the series, showing his youth and potential to grow with the Stars.
