Peacock Orders Action Series 'Twisted Metal' Starring Anthony Mackie

The streaming service Peacock greenlit a live-action TV adaptation of the Twisted Metal video game franchise.
The show will star Anthony Mackie as John Doe, a character trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world filled with weaponized vehicles.
The series is set to premiere on Peacock in July 2023.
The cast also includes Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, Richard Cabral, Samoa Joe and Will Arnett.
