Overview

• Alyssa Wiest, 25, was found shot on a sidewalk in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, just after midnight on May 18 and later pronounced dead at the hospital.
• Investigators discovered a blood trail leading from Wiest’s home, an open door, and five projectiles both inside the home and near her body.
• A witness reported seeing Michael Dutkiewicz, Wiest's boyfriend of two years, near his truck and fleeing the scene around the time of the shooting.
• Dutkiewicz turned himself in less than 12 hours later and has been charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, and possessing an instrument of crime.
• He is being held without bond at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on May 27.
