• Dense to very dense fog, with visibility dropping below 50 meters, is expected over certain areas of Punjab during the night and morning hours.
• The IMD issued a public health advisory warning against lung-related health impacts due to dense fog and cold waves, as well as potential eye irritation due to exposure to pollutants in the air.
• Train services to and from Delhi were also impacted due to low visibility, with 22 trains running late due to various reasons including fog conditions in the northern region.
