Napa's small wooden boat was carried off course by strong currents and poor weather after departing from San Juan de Marcona on December 7, 2024.
He was found near the northern Peruvian port city of Chimbote by an Ecuadorian ship and was reported to be in good physical condition despite the ordeal.
Napa credited his survival to thoughts of his family, including his mother and two-month-old granddaughter, which kept him motivated during the ordeal.
