Philadelphia journalist and advocate shot dead in home invasion

Josh Kruger, a 39-year-old journalist, was shot and killed inside his Philadelphia home.
Kruger was shot multiple times in the chest and abdomen by an intruder.
No arrests have been made, and authorities have not determined a motive.
Kruger was known for his advocacy for marginalized groups including the homeless and LGBTQ+ community.
He had recently returned to journalism after working in communications for the city of Philadelphia.
