Pierre Palmade Accepts Prison Sentence for 2023 Car Crash

The comedian will serve two years in prison following his conviction for causing a serious accident while under the influence of drugs.

Pierre Palmade has decided not to appeal his five-year sentence, which includes two years of mandatory imprisonment, for a car accident he caused in February 2023.
The accident, which occurred in Seine-et-Marne, left three people seriously injured, including a pregnant woman who lost her unborn child as a result of the crash.
Palmade was convicted of 'involuntary injuries' while driving under the influence of drugs and expressed deep remorse during his trial in November 2024.
He will be summoned by the Bordeaux prosecutor's office within a month to receive details of his incarceration, which must begin within four months.
Once incarcerated, Palmade will have the opportunity to request a sentence adjustment, subject to a judge's approval after a formal hearing.
